Cancer information
Cancer Pathfinder is built on the National Cancer Institute’s PDQ® cancer information summaries. Expert editorial boards write these summaries and keep them up to date. You can read the originals on the National Cancer Institute’s website.
Cancer Pathfinder adapts and summarizes this material from the National Cancer Institute. Its explanations are not PDQ cancer information summaries themselves, and they may differ from the current versions on cancer.gov. Each one has numbered sources that link back to the National Cancer Institute, so you can check the original.
PDQ is a registered trademark. The National Cancer Institute lets people reuse its text with credit, under its reuse policy. Our use of this material doesn’t mean the National Cancer Institute endorses ACCRF or Cancer Pathfinder, and no endorsement by the National Cancer Institute should be inferred.
